Popcorn, snow ball and cotton candy machines are available for rental by the day for any event. The popcorn and cotton candy machines come with enough supplies for approximately 50 servings and additional servings are also available. The cotton candy machine sits on its own cart and requires a 120 volts 20 amp circuit for operation. The popcorn machine requires 120 volts 15 amp circuit. The snow ball machine used regular bag ice and requires 120 volts 15 amp circuit. Call for more details 504-343-8091. Please note a deposit is required to hold equipment. Upon receipt of your registration number we will keep your name on the books for 3 days waiting for your deposit. Once we receive your deposit, your booking is confirmed.

Cotton Candy $60.00 per day and additional supplies $18.00 per 50 servings.
Popcorn $60.00 per day - additional supplies $18.00 per 50 servings; a handcrafted wooden serving cart is also available for the popcorn machine upon request at a cost of $35.00 per day.
Snow ball $60.00 per day - no supplies.

Cotton Candy Machine Operating Instructions

  1. Always make sure all the switches are off before plugging into an electrical outlet.

  2. NEVER USE AN EXTENSION CORD. Plug directly into 110 volt 20 amp.outlet.

  3. Wipe the inside of the tub with a damp cloth. This will stop the candy from flying out of the machine.

  4. Pour sugar into head just above the screws inside center of machine.

  5. Turn on motor switch. When motor reaches maximum speed turn machine on high heat. Once the machine begins to make cotton candy put it on low heat. NEVER operate machine on high heat. A setting of 5-6 works well. If machine begins to make cotton candy too fast turn heat down. If machine starts to smoke, it is too hot. Lower the heat setting.

  6. Let floss (cotton candy) build up around tub. Roll cone around tub till desired size.

  7. Repeat step 4. ALWAYS keep sugar in head do not let run dry. This could burn the machine up.

Cleanup

  • Remove tub from the machine; rinse with water only.

  • Once the head of the machine is cool, cover head with bag (which is provided) do not allow head to get wet.

Safety

  • Never touch head while machine is operating or right after use. It will be very HOT.

  • Keep children away from machine while being used.

  • NEVER allow children to operate this machine.

  • Do not stand in water while machine is being operated.

  • Do not allow cotton candy machine to get wet.

  • NEVER use an extension cord.

Popcorn Operating Instructions

  1. Turn all the switches on preheat for 10 minutes.
  2. Cut top of bag / open and pour entire contents into pot (Only one bag at a time)
  3. When finish popping flip kettle up side down.
  4. Repeat step 2.
  5. Turn off kettle and motor when finish.

Cleanup

  • Remove all popcorn from machine.

  • Once the machine is cool, spray with 409 and wipe clean with hot water.

  • Never touch kettle right after use. It will be very HOT.

  • Keep children away from machine while being used.

  • NEVER allow children to operate this machine.

  • Do not stand in water while machine is being operated.

  • Do not allow popcorn machine to get wet.
